Jon
Elliott (b. 1974) studied Drawing/Painting at Georgia State University in Atlanta,
and received a Masters Degree in Painting/Printmaking from RISD in 2001. Recent
solo shows include "Continental Drift" in 2007, "Plague of Excess" 2006, both
at 31Grand Gallery in NY, and "Pursuit of Happiness" in 2009 at the Freedman
Gallery, Albright College. Recent group shows include "Signs of the Apocalypse"
at the Hyde Park Art Center in Chicago 2009, "Nature Interrupted" at the Chelsea
Museum NY, "From Our Living Room To Yours" at Goff+Rosenthal, Berlin, and SIGGRAPH
Asia, a festival of Arts, New Media, and Technology in Yokahama, Japan 2009.
In Sept. 2010, he will participate in the Edward Albee Foundation residency.
